The Canadian Council for Public-Private Partnerships, established in 1993, is governed by senior representatives from business, government and labour and provides considerable background on the need for innovative forms of cooperation between the public and private sectors. www.pppcouncil.ca

The Government of Canada provides information on its infrastructure programs at www.infrastructurecanada.gc.ca

The British government is having tremendous success with a variety of public/private partnerships in different economic sectors. It reports regularly on the benefits of P3s. Relevant government sites include the Treasury at www.hm-treasury.gov.uk and the National Audit Office, Comptroller and Auditor General at www.nao.gov.uk.
